What is Genres?
In short
The kinds of game a publisher or host works in, which predict the servers and titles a player will find.
A genre list describes the types of game a publisher develops or a host runs servers for, and it signals what a player can expect to find. For a publisher, it describes the catalogue rather than a single title, so the list narrows what to expect but does not describe any one game.
